How YOU Can Contribute

Are you interested in being part of the future of education? There are plenty of ways that you can help. You can help by testing our software (either as a student or as a teacher), you can help by providing educational resources, or you can help by providing financial resources.

Testing Our Software

Our software is an integral part of the Global School District project and as such it is important that it works as smoothly as possible. It is also important to get as many people as possible using our software as possible because the greater the number of people the better the interactive experience. Finally, it is very important that we get feedback on our system so we know what features would be useful to add. Our system is useless if it can't use it to do what you want to do.

If you would like to help test our software please fill out this form and we will send you instructions on how to obtain the software. If you are interested in signing your high school up for using our software and our other resources please send email to school-request@gsd.mit.edu.

Providing Educational Resources

Are you interested in providing content for The Global School District? Would you like to provide on-line lectures, mini-textbooks, tutorials, or teach an on-line class? If so, please contact request@gsd.mit.edu - we look forward to hearing from you.

Providing Financial Resources

The Global School District service will be provided completely free to any schools that are interested. And The Global School District must remain free if the power of distance learning to erase the effect of financial inequalities between schools is to be realized.

Consequently, we must depend upon generous grants and donations to keep The Global School District service running. If you or your organization is interested in sponsoring The Global School District please contact Wes Sonnenreich at sonny@mit.edu.
