The Global School District(TM)
The Global School District is the future of distance education.

It's a complete distance learning solution that provides
unique learning opportunities by harnessing the power

Status of the Global School District:
Due to a lack of funding, the Global School District is no longer actively developing its distance education software. Until there is more funding, we will be concentrating on solidifying out interpersonal network through basic communication tools such as email, discussion boards and live chat.
For this purpose, we have created a web-based discussion board and live chat area. Expect to see more web based distance education tools here in the future, as a framework for establishing the Academy's teacher network.

We at the Global School District
are committed to bringing education into the 21st century.
Here is an overview of how we envision education
in the future and what we are doing to make that vision a reality.

The Global School District software
is a powerful communications
package that is being built from the ground up with distance learning as
its focus. It seamlessly integrates communication standards such
as email, news, chat, irc, and talk into one user friendly package thus
bringing these powerful tools to a much broader audience.
The GSD software also integrates novel new tools such as real time
tutoring and on-line testing software.
The Global School District software is written entirely in
Java(TM) so it
can run on any machine that has a stable version of
Java 1.0.2.
The GSD package is on the cutting edge of technology which is
where education needs to be.
