Due to technological limitations, it is currently impossible to provide live audio/video communication across the system. Instead, lectures and presentations will be prepared ahead of time using a new type of multimedia tool that allows the incorporation of interactive software modules into an audio, visual presentation. This will be supplemented by various real-time text based communication methods.

For the teachers, the advantage is that they can spend time making a quality presentation on a topic and then know that it will be available for years to come. They can then devote their full class time on answering questions about the presentation. For students, it allows them to review the lecture as many times as necessary, at their own time and pace.
